"Nationwide Series changes"

With all the talk about the "big" changes coming to the Sprint Cup Series, I think NASCAR needs to make changes to the Nationwide Series also.

I would suggest that Sprint Cup drivers not be allowed to compete in Nationwide Series races. This idea may upset some of you out there--maybe not.

On the weekends when both the Sprint Cup and the Nationwide Series compete, Sprint Cup drivers who compete in Nationwide Series races tend to dominate, and usually win the race. For example, all the 2009 Nationwide Series races were won by Sprint Cup regulars.

The Nationwide Series should be a venue for up and coming drivers to sharpen their driving skills, not be a practice race for Sprint Cup drivers.
