I'd like to thank racing-reference.info for providing me a new home to talk about the excellent sport of auto racing with everyone! My user/blog name is ajcrdstr24 (AJ for short) and I mostly enjoy asphalt short track racing, although I may provide an opinion or two regarding NASCAR and other forms of racing from time to time. My blog might be a little different from others because I would like to share my experiences as a race fan attending various short track races during the year in the Northeast region (mostly my home state of Pennsylvania), as well as my occasional trips down South. I'll often provide links to photos I take and videos I upload. For you gamblers out there, I also will provide some insight into my part time hobby of Texas Hold'em poker. I'll provide updates on some major (or at least what my not well off self considers major) tournaments I play in.
I'll be back in a week or so to post my final North Carolina trip of 2009 preview. I might express some opinions regarding the Talladega Cup race which just wrapped up, but I'll have to gather my thoughts first and consider if it's even worth posting about.
In the mean time, you can view my past posts and read more about my background on my blogspot pages that I started over the summer. They can be found at http://ajcrdstr24.blogspot.com and http://racingarchives.blogspot.com. The latter was a blog I started a couples months ago in which I would profile drivers that made it to the top levels of NASCAR and rather quickly disappeared. Unfortunately that blog is currently on hold, but if I receive requests for some drivers to profile and I find the time to do the research I might bring it back as part of this blog.
Once again, thanks for the opportunity and I'm excited to get the chance to interact with some race fans (and poker players) here!
