Who races for Latitude 43 is really anyone's guess. It was rumored to be Boris Said, but the merger between his team and Rick Clark Motorsports looks to be nearing completion.
It could be Erik Darnell since he seems to be available. It could also be a darkhorse candidate, but there don't seem to be that many left. The number is also a question. It will probably be #26, but that is not for sure. There are also not that many numbers left either.
Roush Fenway "sold" the points to this new team. That is not the way that NASCAR likes people to think about it, but you could see it that way. This is the only time that they will allow this to happen because Roush Fenway was over the four car limit imposed on teams. They will not retain any ownership stake at all.
How these teams that get these points transferred to them do is anyone's guess. There could be much more movement in the Top 35 this year due to that fact. The #82 car is hoping that not every team can get transferred points, since it is 36th in points from last year. They will probably get a guaranteed spot in the first five races.
