My mother and I discovered the most incredible way to have fun together while inundating ourselves with NASCAR. Here's how it works: one person pulls up a race (my mother and I prefer pre-1990 NASCAR and pre-2004 CART, IndyCar, and F1). The other person must guess the cars that are in the top-10. This is harder than it sounds. There are ways to make this fun though: create your own sound effects for each of the various DNF's drivers suffer. Example: whenever the DNF is "head gasket," we say "Oh, he got so mad he blew a head gasket" in a Marvin the Martian style. Every morning my mother and I alternate who gives the races, usually doing 4 races. We pick races held on the given day in past years of NASCAR or find milestone moments in the career of a driver whose birthday is on that day.
Try it. It's fun.
