"Jeff Gordon Needs A New Crew Chief"

When Steve Letarte and Jeff Gordon were first paired up toward the end of 2005, I was pretty confident Stevie would propel Jeff to being a force to reckon with as he was in the 90's. While Jeff has been solid since Letarte came on board, it hasn't been good enough.

Lately the 24 is having similar issues to what the 88 car was having in 2008. They are good off the truck and run well on the first run, but after the 1st stop and the adjustments are made they get off from there and can never recover. Obviously there is some sort of issues that need to be sorted out. Jeff Gordon is expected to win races and win championships. He hasn't won a title since 2001 and the wins are beginning to diminish as well.

We know Jeff is a great driver and one of the best ever. It looks like Jeff will be racing for at least a few more years so I believe he needs to be given the best possible opportunity to win races and another championship. The 1st step that needs to be taken is replacing the crew chief. Jeff and Stevie had a great run but it's time for a change.

I want to see Jeff Gordon get to 100 wins and win another title, but I don't see it happening unless Jeff gets a new crew chief.
