Matt Kenseth- Beware The Silent Assassin !
Matt Kenseth and crew chief Jimmy Fennig both experienced comeback season's in 2011, expect another solid season from the 17 team in 2012. Heading into their third season working together the Kenseth/Fennig duo looks primed for a championship run. Kenseth finally looks to be comfortable working with a crew chief other than Robbie Reiser. All the credit in the world should go to team owner Jack Roush for paring Kenseth with a proven winner like Fennig. Prior to the 2010 season Kenseth worked with two younger crew chief's (Drew Blickensderfer,Chip Bolin) Both pairings produced minimal success. Fennig appears to have resurrected the Matt Kenseth of old, the silent assassin is back on the prowl. The 17 car will have some new decals on the hood for the 2012 season as retail giant Best Buy joins Roush Fenway Racing. Look for Kenseth to collect the sponsors first win in the sport. Good karma at Roush Fenway Racing can only bring greater succes to both the 17 & 99 team, and if the 16 team shows up even better success will follow in 2012. Expect a great season out of Matty boy who will no doubt improve upon his 2011 comback season.
